Induction programme, oh no!

By the time this entry is posted, I am already in school, registered and ready for the Induction Programme that has been planned out for the SoE students in the MDE division. So as you know, I've spammed my Facebook and Twitter saying that I am not looking forward for it, but I am going to change my mindset before I go to school tomorrow.

Since it starts at 9am tomorrow, I have no problems because for the past few months my classes have been starting at 9am and I have no problem catching the bus at different times to reach school at the right time. Since me and Arif is in the same division and in the same course (but in the same class), I decided to go to school with him. And that is another thing to not look forward to because even though we're in the same class for a few years now, it's still uncomfortable for me if we're together just the both of us.

But since he will feel uncomfortable in the new environment (count me in too, because I hate these types of environment) I decided to go to school with him. Because, some of you may not know, but I can feel very nervous especially meeting people that I don't know especially when meeting for the first time (of course the people that I've seen loads of time is Arif himself, Matthew and also Jason Chua, obviously). And since I am going with Arif, I think I can manage just fine and I won't feel so nervous.

It was written in the letter that we will be greeted by the MDE Director, some performance and even 'fun' bonding activities. I am so 'looking forward' to those. But maybe, at the end of the day, my gut feelings will change. I mean, I am really thankful that the camp is optional, because I really hate camps (Thanks to the D+ from Learn to Lead) and also our division has more than 120people but it's only for the first 120people (which I doubt less than that will apply for the camp). Furthermore it is the only camp that the students have to pay $10 fees when applying for the camp. Thank God it is optional. <3

I think this will help me and the others, feel more comfortable with the people around us when school officially starts on the 19th. I am definitely looking forward to that, even though I know it will be more packed than it was during the DPA 3 months duration.

So, whose ready for some induction programme? Not me.

PS : Please note that I wrote this entry on the 8th April at 8PM. :)
